Description:
A fine example of an American Brown Ale, our version has a complex malt profile of chocolate, honey, and crystal malts and a wonderful balance of West Cost Hops.

Hop Rhizome Pre-Order Now Available
Grow Your Own Hops! As we do each year, Hop Rhizomes may
be ordered now with delivery around the 1st or April. All orders are due by
March 1st.
Due to a huge volume last year, and an even larger volume expected this year,
the price per Rhizome has decreased to $4.50. They generally arrive in good condition, but as with any plant, we cannot guarantee viability, so double up
if you want an insurance policy.

Cascade: 4.5-7.0% alpha. Grows well in all climates. Susceptible to aphid.
Centennial: 9.5-11.5% alpha. Grows well in all climates. Susceptible to downy mildew.
Chinook: 11-13% alpha. Grows well in dry, hot climates. Subject to spider mites. Great ornamental hop.
Columbus: 14-16% alpha. Grows well in dry, hot climates. Vigorous but susceptible to mildew diseases.
Fuggles: 4.0-5.5% alpha. Grows well in damp climates. Suffers a little in hot climates.
Glacier: 5.0-6.0% alpha. Grows well in all climates.
Golding: 4.0-5.0% alpha. Grows well in mild, moist climates. Does ok in hot climates.
Hallertau: 3.5-5.5% alpha. Grows well in mild, moist climates. Suffers a little in hot climates.
Horizon: 11-13% alpha. Grows well in all climates.
Nugget: 12-14% alpha. Grows well in all climates.
Tettnang: 4.0-6.0% alpha. Grows well in moderate climates. Suffers a little in hot climates.
Willamett: 4-6% alpha. Grows well in all climates.
